MorseClockBox

MorseClockBox is Morse Code Clock with a minimalistic / brutalist architecture look. The idea of a Morse Code clock is not new. If you look around the internet, you’ll find lots out there but most of these are based around an analogue clock mechanism with the hours marked off in Morse Code around the circumference.

This design is different, the hands are replaced with strips of RGB addressable LEDs with each strip corresponding to one digit of the time. The picture shows the time being 15:33. As digits change the new digits scrolls in from the right. The times comes directly from the internet and can be configured to display in 12hr or 24hr modes. The time can be local time or UTC. In a similar way to old fashioned Grandfather Clocks, this clock can chime. At configurable intervals it will announce the time, obviously, in Morse Code. The speed and tone of the Morse Code is adjustable via two potentiometers along with the volume. It also can also display the current temperature and / or humidity.
